About us

VEGDOG GmbH, based in Munich, currently employs just under 60 staff and has been developing dog food for over ten years that consistently avoids animal-based and many plant-based major allergens, whilst providing dogs with everything they need for a nutritionally complete diet. Product development is 100 per cent scientifically based. As a pioneer in the field of low-allergen, plant-based dog nutrition with scientific rigour, VEGDOG is committed to clear values and measurable standards. The company is particularly committed to making a positive impact and to animal welfare. The company has already succeeded in rescuing numerous animals from precarious situations, including a flock of sheep rescued and adopted by VEGDOG. Through fundraising campaigns, large quantities of food have already been delivered to animals in need, most recently 28 tonnes for dogs in need of protection in Ukraine – in line with the VEGDOG motto: Do Good. Feed Better.
